Information we collect

Perfect Pause is designed to collect only information needed to operate the features you use. Depending on how you use the service, this can include account information such as your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password; game information such as player names, scores, room information, and game history; and technical session information needed to keep a game connected.

You can play ordinary game sessions without creating an account. Some account-based or history features may require additional information.

How we use information

Information may be used to:

• create and operate game sessions and multiplayer rooms;
• authenticate registered users and maintain sessions;
• save scores or history when those features are used;
• protect the service against abuse and technical problems;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service; and
• respond to support, privacy, or other messages you send us.

Cookies and advertising

Perfect Pause may use essential cookies or similar browser storage to maintain sessions and support game functionality. Your browser may also store information according to its own settings.

When advertising is enabled, Perfect Pause may use Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising, including personalized advertising where permitted by applicable settings and law.

Sharing information

We do not sell account information. Information may be processed by service providers when needed to operate hosting, analytics, email, advertising, security, or other technical services. Those providers may process information only as necessary for the services they provide.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or to address security, fraud, or abuse.

Retention and security

Account and game information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant feature, maintain the service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we hold, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. You may also control cookies through your browser.
